POLICY STATEMENTS
1. Article Processing Charge (APC) / Author Fees
Forum Komunikasi does not charge any article processing charges (APC) or submission fees. All articles are published free of charge. We are committed to supporting the open dissemination of knowledge and ensuring equitable access to publication opportunities, particularly for researchers from all backgrounds and institutions.
2. Licensing
All articles published in Forum Komunikasi are licensed under a Penerbit UiTM. This license permits non-commercial use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are properly credited. Commercial use of content is not permitted without explicit permission from the journal or the authors.
3. Ownership and Management
Forum Komunikasi is an academic journal owned and managed by the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). The journal operates on a non-profit basis and is overseen by an editorial board composed of scholars and professionals in the fields of communication and social sciences.
4. Copyright
By submitting and publishing their work with the journal, authors grant Forum Komunikasi the right to publish, archive, and disseminate it electronically and in print. Authors are encouraged to share and distribute their articles while citing the original source of publication.
Upon submission, the corresponding author should declare and assign the Copyright Owner; i.e. Forum Komunikasi, the copyright of the manuscript submitted, where authors agree to grant an exclusive publishing and distribution license and any tables, illustrations or other material submitted for publication as part of the manuscript. The declaration shall be made through the Assignment of Copyright, a form that can be downloaded from the Forum Komunikasi official website. The right to publish and reproduce the Article, or any part of it, in any form; print, electronic and other media, in any language, any part of the world and the rights for the full term of copyright and license, with immediate effect once the article submitted is accepted for publication
5. Revenue Sources
Forum Komunikasi does not generate revenue through article processing charges or subscriptions. The journal is fully funded by the [institution/department/faculty], and it operates on a not-for-profit basis. Revenue, if any, may come from institutional support, academic grants, or government funding. The journal does not feature advertisements to maintain academic independence and integrity.
